The Economics Applicant Mentoring Programme (AMP) is a graduate student-led initiative across the Economics departments at LSE, Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, and Warwick. We match applicants with Ph.D. student mentors to guide them through research pathways and the Ph.D. application process — making the path into academic economics more transparent and accessible for everyone.
For applicants: If you are thinking about applying to a Ph.D. in Economics and would like guidance from someone who has been through the process, please visit the AMP website to find out how to sign up.
For mentors: We are always looking for Ph.D. students currently enrolled at LSE, Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, or Warwick who want to give back and support the next generation of economists. If that is you, please get in touch through the AMP website.
