Other Things I Want to Share

Economics Applicant Mentoring Programme

I co-organise the Economics Applicant Mentoring Programme (AMP). Whether you are thinking about applying to a Ph.D. in Economics or are already in one and want to give back — please have a look.

Football Refereeing

I have spent my weekends refereeing youth women’s and men’s football matches for over a decade across Germany, Switzerland, and England. It is one of the most rewarding things I do — being on the pitch, contributing to the game at the grassroots level, and yes, the adrenaline of a heated match. If you are looking for a way to give back to your community through sport, I can warmly recommend signing up as a referee. You can find out how to get started through the Football Association.

Consent.Ed

If you are a student and you end up on this page: please go through the Consent.Ed training if it is at all possible for you. I am no longer part of this effort, but I feel strongly about it.

Consent.Ed is a student-led campaign at LSE that trains students to help create a safe space for everyone on and off campus, free from sexual and gender-based violence. It brings together undergraduate and postgraduate students to engage openly with consent and active bystander behaviour. It is important work, and the training is worth your time.
